Sabrina Gennari

 

 

Sabrina Gennari was born on the 29 August 1987, in Cattolica, Italy.

Graduated in Commercial advertising, art graphics and photography at the Liceo “F. Fellini” of Riccione, Italy. She has attended than a course of comic strips at the Comix of Jesi, Italy.

 

She soon started painting, her subject are women that talk about strong emotions, sometimes with conflicts, inside imaginary cages, where the inadequacy with the world that surrounds the modern men is revealed. Be or appearance? This is probably the most asked question of our century and of the main character of the paintings.

 

Every painting is realized one after the other in the symbolic research of images, with many preliminary sketch designs done before. The sketch is a study that looks like the final painting, but once working on the painting she lets her instinct guide her.
