Davide Ratti (RATZO)

 

Davide Ratti was born in Milan in 1980. He graduated at the Academy of Belle Arti of Brera (Milan) in 2005 and, obtained a diploma in web design. He has a passion for both music and art. In 2008 opens the Hamsters Studio, an artist’s workroom with other two colleagues, with them he has exhibited in 2013 in Milan at Spazio Asti 17.

He is very active within the community of Milan and surroundings, taking part at exhibitions and festivals such as the GIUCAN KLAN festival at the Polytechnic of Milan Bovisa in 2002 and 2003, the Community Museum MAGMA of Roccamonfina called YOUNG SHOWCASE in 2013. He has in his curricula a long list of group and single exhibitions in many Italian cities and towns.

He also creates, promotes and manages art events and labs for and with young artists, some at international level such as “Metamorphosis” where he has invited the Australian artist Stelarc, known for his body art. Davide Ratti uses art also to express himself with poetry, indoors and outdoors murals, comic strips and street art.
