Ottavio Taranto

 

Ottavio Taranto was born in 1988 in Palermo from a family professionally and sentimentally devoted to Art. He graduates at the high school of art D. Almeyada of Palermo where has the luck to meet teachers that understand and challenge his talent and stile.

In 2011, there is his fist single exhibition at the Theatre Verdura of Palermo, many exhibitions and prizes will follow in Pescara, Rome and Milan. In 2011 wins the prize D’Annunzio in Pescara from the critic for his artistic characteristic style. In 2012 there is his second exhibition called “labyrinth”, artworks done using the pen in support to the paint. In March 2012, he exposes one of his best works at the Young Contemporary museum of Art situated in the Tower monument of Monreale, province of Pescara. In April of the same year, he promotes and organizes the group exhibition for paintings, sculpture, design and photography. In May exposes for the Art Day in Bagheria and other few single and group ones during the rest of the year.

Always in 2012, he will be part of the Guinness World record with other 372 artists for having painted at the same time a 390mq canvas. In 2013, he exhibits his work in Milan at the ATAHotel Executive and at the Community Gallery of Enna donating one of his paintings to O.I.P.A. His paintings are in private collection in Sicily and Lazio regions.
